Busy Busy Busy!

My apologies to those of you waiting on a new blog post! I have been so busy lately, I haven't had time to finish a recipe post! I have the post for my tamales started out, but haven't uploaded any pictures or anything! I will (of course) let everyone know when that post is done!

We have been all over the place lately! One of my best friends, Gia, and her (new) hubby came to visit & got married since they've been here! SO so fun! & so happy for them :) We went to the Ko'Olina lagoons, and they had their ceremony at Secret Beach, a few lagoons over from where we did our family pictures this past September! They also used Aubrae', the same photographer that did our family pictures! She is THE BEE'S KNEES! I'm telling you, guys! ( If you're on Oahu, and are interested in family pictures, engagement pictures, maternity pictures, ANYTHING, just facebook her! Aubrae' Hokom Photography)

ALSO---- I made Gia an appointment with my FAVORITE hair stylist on the island, Chantell Hodge, you can check her out on fb as well, on her page Fringe by Chantell. She's seriously awesome, she does my hair, and she did Giovanna's hair for her ceremony & it lasted all night! So perfect!

We hiked the Lanikai Pillbox trail, we went to Hickam beach, and as previously mentioned, the Lagoons, for the ceremony. We also went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay! Well, let's be serious, they snorkeled, and I sat in the sun playing with Bennett. & I almost forgot, we stopped at the blow hole by sandy beach before Hanauma bay & everyone jumped off the rocks into the water!

The swap meet at aloha stadium was a good stop too, we were there for almost two hours, and I know Nick and Gia picked up lots of goodies!

We never really realized how much stuff there is to do here, until we had guests come to visit. They were here 9 days and I feel like there is absolutely NO way we would be able to see and do everything, EVEN if we did three or four activities a day!

We also ate at Cheescake factory this past week (which is not even a highlight, but it was delicious) and the wait in downtown Waikiki was over an hour and a half, on a Monday night! It was crazy! But, Hawaii is a vacation spot year round, because the weather is so nice here, so it makes sense!

Enough rambling, I will try to finish my tamale/ posole posts once Will gets home from work! Hope everyone is having a great day/week/ NEW YEAR! woooo!
